This is the first of 3 photos which shows a panorama of the Devil's Marbles. The first European explorers gave the area this name because of the strange rock formations, the Aborigine legends of evil in the area and the general hostility of the local environment. These were all formed by wind eroding the stone into these round marble-like forms. Posted by Picasa
